BIO.
Mark Brooks leads FMC Ventures, the venture capital arm of FMC Corporation, reshaping the future of AgTech.  He is based in Research Triangle Park, NC.  His career began as a Climatologist, where he built transformative tools for agriculture, including innovative solutions for wine-grape, strawberry, peanut, turf, and blackberry growers. In the world of startups, just as in climatology, Mark has learned to appreciate both the highs and the lows. He went on to co-found two startups, one of which achieved the top 3% of all Internet traffic in 2000. At AICPA, the world's premier association for professional accountants, Mark spearheaded Innovation and M&A and established the world's first corporate venturing program for the accounting industry, garnering him a "20 Under 40" accolade for technology advancement in finance.  His AgTech experience includes nearly three years as an investor at Syngenta Ventures prior to FMC.  Mark is a board member of several startups with interests in AgTech, ClimateTech, and FinTech.  Mark has a B.S. in Meteorology and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from North Carolina State University.
