In August 2024, two students from Nagoya University participated in an exchange program at North Carolina State University (NC State).

Both students had previously stayed in North Carolina for a five-week study abroad program (Ryugaku Academy) and returned to NC State for this long-term exchange program. Although they may have initially felt nervous about studying abroad for an extended period, the program concluded successfully in May.

One of the students is scheduled to return to Japan this month, while the other has chosen to remain until the end of July to participate in an internship program. This internship opportunity is made possible through the J-1 Academic Training program and provides a valuable opportunity to gain professional experience in their field of study.

Additionally, another Nagoya University student is scheduled to participate in the exchange program at NC State in August 2025. NU Tech and the Global Campus will continue to support our students to ensure they have a rewarding study abroad experience.
