After a long hiatus following the COVID-19 pandemic, the RTP Kinyo-Kai returned last month.

The event featured Dr. Mari Shinohara, who reflected on her 17-year career as a principal investigator at Duke University and shared advice for early-career researchers. Representatives from JSPS, AMED, and JST also introduced funding opportunities and support programs available to researchers based outside Japan.

The presentations prompted lively discussion and thoughtful questions, followed by a networking reception attended by nearly 20 participants. We look forward to holding the RTP Kinyo-Kai on a regular basis and encourage anyone interested to join our future gatherings.
