NU Tech Roundtable 2025 Held as Part of the 40th Anniversary of Academic Collaboration

As part of the 40th anniversary celebration of academic collaboration between Nagoya University and NC State University, the NU Tech Roundtable 2025 was held under the theme “Adaptive Plant Strategies for Environmental Stress.”
Researchers from both Nagoya University and NC State presented their latest findings, and the event also featured a business introduction by TOWING, a Nagoya University startup developing biochar technologies.
To commemorate the 40th anniversary, a special lecture titled “History of Collaboration between CALS and the Graduate School of Bioagricultural Sciences” was delivered by Professor Satoshi Okura, Vice Dean of the Graduate School of Bioagricultural Sciences at Nagoya University.
This event aimed to strengthen industry-academia collaboration in cutting-edge technologies and once again provided a valuable opportunity for university researchers and companies from North Carolina to come together.
