North Carolina High School Students Visit Nagoya University
Ten high school students selected from the NC International Science Challenge (NCISC), a program offered by the University of North Carolina, visited Nagoya University for five days.
This was the first overseas training program for NCISC students since the pandemic, and they chose Nagoya University as their destination because of their relationship with Nagoya University's MIRAI GSC program at the University of North Carolina.
The program began with a courtesy visit to the President, followed by a campus tour, lectures on Japanese and American culture, laboratory visits, company visits, sightseeing in Nagoya, and an exchange program at a Nagoya University high school, and ended with a poster or oral presentation of their research to the high school students of the MIRAI GSC program.
Although the visit lasted only five days, it was a fulfilling stay that was made possible by the cooperation of everyone involved at Nagoya University and the assistant students. We would like to thank everyone who cooperated with us.
