Nagoya University Launches First Faculty-Led Short-Term Program with NC State

From May 11 to June 20, Nagoya University hosted 23 undergraduate students from the Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University as part of the first-ever faculty-led short-term program between the two universities.

Over the course of six weeks, the students took part in a dynamic blend of academic and cultural experiences. Alongside business-focused lectures led by NC State faculty, they visited Japanese companies and participated in cultural activities, gaining valuable insights both in and out of the classroom.

The program also offered opportunities for meaningful interaction with Nagoya University students and immersion in daily life in Japan, helping participants broaden their global perspectives and develop practical skills.

This inaugural program represents an important milestone in strengthening the partnership between Nagoya University and NC State. It is expected to lay the groundwork for continued collaboration in education, research, and human capital development.
