Nagoya University Graduate Student Visits UNC-Chapel Hill’s Community Practice Lab

An article has been published on the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine website featuring a recent visit by Yuriko Honoso, a graduate student in occupational therapy from Nagoya University.
In March, Ms. Honoso participated in a short-term observational experience at the Community Practice Lab (CPL), where she had the opportunity to learn about UNC’s approach to occupational therapy.
The article highlights her engagement with faculty and students, as well as her exploration of community-based practices in the field.
The visit is the latest in the CPL’s ongoing collaboration with Nagoya University.
During her visit, she observed interprofessional care models and educational practices in occupational therapy, gaining insight into similarities and differences between the U.S. and Japan.
