Data Science Overseas Training Program
Sponsored by the Nagoya University Mathematical and Data Science Center
A one-week training program for graduate students from Nagoya University was held at NC State University. The program aimed to enhance expertise in data science for QTAs (Qualified Teaching Assistants) and QTA candidates at the Nagoya University Mathematical and Data Science Center. This science-focused program involved 15 graduate students from Nagoya University, and was facilitated through cooperation between Nagoya University and NC State's GTI.
Intensive programs like this that provide specialized training in high-demand fields like data science are invaluable for graduate students of Nagoya University. Combining workshops, hands-on practice, and culminating in final presentations helps reinforce the learning.
This productive collaboration between the two universities to upskill graduate students in data science expertise.
We would like to thank the GTI member for facilitating the program.
