The Cybersecurity Exchange Program is a one-week cybersecurity program jointly implemented by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) and Nagoya University, with financial support from the U.S. Embassy in Japan. This iteration marks the third and final cohort of the program.

The program is conducted in two phases — at UNC-CH in February and at Nagoya University in May — with selected students from each university participating. Last week's program at UNC-CH welcomed seven students from Nagoya University, all of whom returned home safely this past Saturday.

This year's program included cybersecurity workshops, as well as visits to a nuclear power plant and a task force, along with student exchange activities. It provided a valuable opportunity for participants to deepen their understanding from both academic and practical perspectives.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the staff at UNC Global Affairs for coordinating the program, as well as to all those who have offered their cooperation and support throughout its implementation.
