NU Tech News

We held NU Tech Roundtable 2020 online.

On November 11, the 11th NU Tech Roundtable was held online. The topic of this roundtable was "NextGen Platform Technology for Accelerated Drug Discovery," and we had a presentation on drug discovery technologies. We had attendees not only from the U.S., but also from Japan. There were about 50 participants from universities including NC State and UNC, and researchers from pharmaceutical companies including Bayer and Merck.

Participated in the 1st UJA Researcher Community Meeting

NU Tech staff participated in the online meeting organized by United Japanese Researchers Around the World (UJA) as a representative of the RTP Kinyo-Kai. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss how to strengthen networking and collaborations among Japanese researcher groups around the world (48 groups from 9 countries). UJA is also trying to increase their reach and advocate in the world in order to enhance the benefits of its members. We also introduced about the activities of NU Tech and NU Friends in addition to the RTP Kinyo-Kai.

We will host the 3rd Annual NU Friends Webinar

We will host an NU Friends webinar by Dr. Sotaro Mine (Alumnus of Nagoya University, School of Medicine), currently a researcher at the U.S. National Institutes of Health, on December 4, 2010 (US time).
